Tips for taking a road trip to Las Vegas and The Strip

Perhaps more than ever, you are considering taking an iconic road trip vacation across America to Las Vegas this year. But before you hit the open road, here are a few tips to make driving to Las Vegas safer and more fun:

  • Pack enough PPE (personal protection equipment) and other sanitation gear before you leave.
  • Limit stops and opportunities for contact with others as much as possible during your road trip.
  • Pack enough snacks and drinks to keeps stops at a minimum to save time and money.
  • Know the rules and restrictions of the individual states you will be passing through.
  • Check your battery, fluid levels, and tire pressure to assure a safe trip.
  • Try to travel outside of rush hour traffic.
  • Download maps and music to your phone and be flexible.
  • Take side trips to the Grand Canyon, the Valley of Fire, or Lake Mead.
